Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers is a non-profit long-term care community owned by Wray Community District Hospital. This relationship with the community hospital provides a continuum of care to ensure all elders receive quality care and maintain quality of life.

Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers practices the Eden Alternative philosophy which supports a healthy environment full of life, choices, independence, music, animals, children, family and friends.
We are the only Music & Memory certified home in Northeast Colorado. This program provides the elder with a personalized iPod full of music. The goal of the program, beyond pure enjoyment, is to enable those struggling with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other cognitive and physical challenges to reconnect with the world through music-triggered memories.
We truly believe that creating an elder-centered community allows all generations to grow and learn from one another by creating meaningful moments every day!
We are certified to accept medicare, medicaid, long-term care insurance, respite insurance, hospice or private pay.

Our Medical Director
Dr. Monte Uyemura visits our home weekly.
Originally from Greeley, Colorado, Dr. Uyemura attended medical school at Northwestern University and completed his Family Practice Residency in the United States Army. Dr. Uyemura moved to Wray in 1996 to establish his practice at the Wray Clinic. Dr. Uyemura is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
